The beaches on Phuket Island, Thailand are only one of the many exciting things to do and see. The only problem with these beaches, is choosing which beach on Phuket Island, Thailand to visit. The solution is to try and visit them all.
Almost all of the beaches are on the west side of Phuket Island, Thailand. Starting at the north, and continuing all the way down to the southern tip of Phuket Island, Thailand. Although there are more beaches on Phuket Island, Thailand, these particular beaches stand out more than the others.
Patong Beach is an amazement to visitors because of its beautiful white sand. On the edge of the sparkling Andaman Sea. The beach is conveniently located to shops, night clubs, restaurants, and many other things. If you are looking for excitement this is a good start.
The Kata Yoi and Kata Noi are basically two beaches connected. They are both inhabited with resorts and Bungalows. However, unlike some of the other beaches on Phuket Island, Thailand Kata beach has a more low level quiet atmosphere.
Karon Beach is a great beach for water fun. Where the sea touches this beach, the sea waves are calm throughout the dry season. The sand has a powdered texture. Karon beach also merges with Kata beach to the south. Dino Park, a miniature golf course sits right between these two beaches.
This beach on Phuket Island, Thailand hasn't been developed quite as much as some of the other beaches. With more of a Thai village atmosphere. However, the awesome theme park "Fanta Sea " is on Kamala beach.
Chalong Beach on Phuket Island, Thailand has been considered the gateway to the southern end of the island.
Five roads literally lead out from the "Chalong Circle." Roads leading north to Phuket, west to going past Siam Safari, east leading you to Chalong Bay, and south to Rawai, and across the mountains into Karon.

Mai Khao and Nai Yang

Each year there is a festival on Phuket Island, Thailand, at this beach. One of the fun activities during this event is to release baby sea turtles back to the sea.
