Mom Tri's Kitchen of Phuket Island is completely organic, and they must be doing something right because the have won the prestigious Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence 2007. This is a distinction that has been presented to only one restaurant in Thailand as of 2006, so is nothing to scoff at.
Mom Tri's Kitchen of Phuket Island is located on Kata Noi beach, and is also ran as a boathouse. As the saying goes, a fine dinner always goes best with a fine wine, and Mom Tri's Kitchen has a wide assortment of organic wines to chose from. As for the dining, a small sample of dishes they prepare are their Mango Gazpacho , which is a chilled mango and cucumber soup, and their Aubergine Roll, which is a roll with pine nuts and apricot chutney, garnished with feta cheese.
The house specialty Gung Flambé, which is a rock lobster flambé with brandy and curry served with jasmine rice, is to die for. However, if wine is more your thing, then experiencing Mom Tri's 'Wine By The Glass' is a great way to sample several fine wines at a great price.
