A second day here on Phuket with the perfect sunny weather one expects of such a prominent holiday destination. The last monsoon front has finally passed and one hopes that the good weather holds for a while.
I myself was out walking on a sun-drenched Patong Beach, where the low ride around 17:00 made for perfect walking conditions, the beach at its maximum width with firm sand.  Walking at Patong Beach at low tideWhile to usual sun-bathers were gone back to their hotels and maybe preparing for one of the famous seafood dinners one can have in Patong's beach road, a last few tourists had a look at the beach from above from a parasail. With the beach that empty and wide a nearly riskless undertaking, while still having the full amount of fun.
