It is a modern resort that has been divided into four sections to provide different accommodation for people with different tastes and priorities. The fours zones of the resort cater to families, individuals, couples and the more discerning travelers. Each accommodation zone offers splendid view of the Sea and the hinterland.

Karon Beach is at a walking distance of three minutes from the resort and offers you all the options in sports and activities you are looking for. Karon Beach is popular as the softest white sand beach in Phuket. The resort offers you easy access not only to Karon Beach, but also to Patong Beach in a couple of minutes. The resort is strategically located to provide you easy access to all the happening places of Phuket, be it the not-so-loud bars and restaurants near Karon beach or the hip and happening night life at Patong beach.

There are many facilities and services in the resort and you might just not feel the need to step out of the resort. Centara Karon Beach Resort has been divided into four residential zones with 316 rooms and 19 villas. The zones are named Tropicale, The Lagoon, The terraces and Cabannas. These zones are situated amidst a tropical landscape on the Karon beach and the cottages are scattered on landscaped grounds. All the rooms are centrally air-conditioned and replete with modern facilities and amenities. They also have spacious, attached balconies or terraces to spend leisurely evenings.

The resort offers Centara Plus Lounge facilities only to the discerning guests who put up a stay in the Tropicale zone. It is an open air lounge, providing a range of complimentary services from 8 in morning to 10 in night. These extra benefits include care and assistance from the concierge, tea and coffee through out the day, snacks during the day, cocktails in the evenings from 5:30 to 7, daily promotions on food and beverages, access to Internet, newspapers and reading material, complimentary neck and shoulder massage for de-stressing jet-lag, 20% off on Spa treatments, 20% off on laundry services and lastly 10% on dining and beverages provided in the resort.

Superior Rooms
These rooms are located in The Terrace zone. Newly refurbished, they can accommodate up to 2 adults and a child. The terrace is an oversized one and completely furnished. All the standard facilities are available.

Superior Ocean View
With new refurbishes, these rooms are also situated in The Terraces zone. They too have an oversized, fully furnished balcony each and all standard amenities.

Deluxe Honeymoon Spa Suite
The 4 rooms are located in The Terraces Zone of Centara resort. Apart from the oversized terrace and standard facilities, these rooms also offer an outdoor private sinker Jacuzzi tub and an indoor area for lounging.

Deluxe Room
These rooms, located in The Lagoon zone are ideal for holidays with your family. These rooms can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. A king size bed or 2 double beds come with the standard facilities in the rooms.

Deluxe Family Studio
The studio rooms are located in The Lagoon zone that offers greater space and comfort. 2 adults and 3 children can easily stay in these studio rooms. All other standard facilities are offered.

Premium Deluxe Rooms
Premium Deluxe rooms are available only in the Tropicale zone. Apart from standard facilities you also get a daily maid service twice a day, turndown service in the evening, bathrobe, slippers and also the exquisite facilities of the Centara Plus lounge.

Premium Suite
These suites have got the same features and facilities as Premium Deluxe rooms in the Tropicale zone. They too are located in the Tropicale zone and offer spacious accommodation, more than the Premium Deluxe rooms.

1 Bedroom Pool Cabanna
These cabanas are scattered all over the grounds of the resort. They are extremely spacious and offer total privacy amidst comfort. Apart from all the standard facilities, these Cabannas also have a private pool on the terrace and two sun beds. These rooms can accommodate a maximum number of 3 adults.

2 Bedroom Pool Cabanna
Similar in comfort and facilities as the 1 bedroom pool Cabana in The Cabannas zone, these cabannas are much larger in area than the 1 bedroom ones.
