Hotel reviews provided by Tripadvisor:  We went to Horizon Karon Beach in June 2000 for 10 days. In the past we've stayed at The Merlin Beach Resort and I think everything can only be downhill from the merlin.
I decided to stay here...
 We stayed 8 nights at Horizon and we were wrapped with the facilities, the pools were fabulous and the staff were just fantastic. The location of the resort is perfect as the Karon/Kata areas are...
We stayed at Horizon for two weeks - and we loved the place!
