The Kata Minta is just 150 meters from Kata Beach a walk along a small shopping area where you can buy useful nick knacks for the beach. There is also a cash dispensing machine, an ATM near by.
The diving pier is at Chalong Bay just 15 minutes along the Kata Highlands road to ha Yeark. From here you can get to all the main reefs out east, Phi Phi Island, Shark Point, The Wreck, south, Racha Island and to the west, the Similans.
The nearest golf course is in Kahtu Valley, the country club and the Phuket International Airport is 60 minutes away.

Kata Minta was a fantastic value. To get clean and nice rooms that are only a few minutes walk from the beach was great! The staff was friendly enough and it was quiet.
