The Old Phuket Boutique Resort: Overview

This 19th century architecture hotel has 183 rooms which are located within the private Aroona Plaza. With everything from restaurants to shopping close by and Karon beach stretching out in both directions in front of the resort, everything to need is just a few minutes away.

There are 5 types of rooms (detailed below) which provide beautifully decorated rooms to meet all budgets and occasions. Each room has state of the art amenities.

Its warmth and friendly staff are more than what you would wish for to make your holiday a successful one.

The Old Phuket Boutique Resort: Rooms Overview

The rooms are warm and equipped with quite a variety of modern amenities. The furniture and interior decor reflect the life of Old Phuket. They have used terracotta colours like green and yellow, which reflect light. The rooms just fuse into each other.

Deluxe Room Sino Wing
Deluxe Rooms are 28 sqm, located on the 2nd-4th floors with partial mountain view balconies. They are fitted with a king size bed or 2 single beds. Bathrooms have a bathtub with an overhead shower.

Terrace Deluxe Sino Wing
Terrace Rooms are 36 sqm, located on the ground floors with small garden view terraces. They are fitted with a four poster king size bed only. Bathrooms have a bathtub with an overhead shower, plus they have a private outdoor garden rain shower.

Private Jacuzzi Room Sino Wing
Private Jacuzzi Rooms are 45 sqm, located on the ground floors with garden views and do not have balconies. They have a private outdoor jacuzzi at the front, armchairs and a room safe. They are fitted with a king size bed only. Bathrooms have a bathtub with an overhead shower, plus they have a private outdoor garden rain shower.

Deluxe Pool View Serene Wing (from 1st December 2008)
These large elegant and modern style rooms have a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool. New additions to the standard room facilities are flat screen TV and DVD player in the Serene wing rooms. Plus outdoor fan on the balcony.

Deluxe Pool Access Serene Wing (from 1st December 2008)
Newly completed in time for December 1st 2008 these large elegant and modern style rooms have a large terrace and provide access to the swimming pool. Plus outdoor fan on the terrace.

With a superb array of different cuisines and some delicious wines available. You can take your pick to suit your palate.

The Shark Restaurant
They serve you breakfast from 6:30am to 10:30am. The menu is Thai and International.

The Chilli Restaurant
This place is amazing, with music playing as you indulge your taste buds. They dish out some great seafood preparations, in Thai and Intercontinental styles. It is open from 12pm to 11pm.

The Lobby Bar
You get the best cocktails, accompanied with a variety of delectable snacks. There is also Tea/ Coffee available. Timings are from 11am to 11pm.

Koi Poolside Bar
Have a drink and relax by the pool or indulge as you swim. Timings are from 10am to 7pm.

There is a state of the art fitness club which has some great machines, to help you tone and keep fit. There is also the swimming pool, where you can take a few laps and feel cool and energized. In fact the swimming pool on the rooftop, that is the third floor, has a great view of the most scenic sunsets. If not, then head out to the clear crystal water of the Karon Beach.
